Here was the complete setlist, as played, for Night 2 at Massey Hall:

One Sunday Morning (live debut)

I Might
IATTBYH>
Kamera
Company In My Back
Born Alone
A Shot in the Arm
Rising Red Lung (live debut)

Nick Lowe played an identical opening set to the previous night, though he admitted that he was battling some sort of throat malady. Though his voice was still largely in fine form, Lowe did struggle with an occasional croak. On “Cruel to Be Kind,” for example, he realized early on that he simply could not reach some of the high notes the song requires. So he asked the audience for some help in filling the the backing “baaaaaby,” which was perfectly fine by me since I think it’s a perfect candidate for a singalong song.

At any rate, here’s was Lowe’s complete setlist (as played) for Night 2 at Massey Hall:

Stoplight Roses
Heart
What’s Shakin’ on the Hill
Ragin’ Eyes
All Men Are Liars
Lately I’ve Let Things Slide
I Live On A Battlefield
I Read A Lot
Cruel To Be Kind
Alison [Elvis Costello]
When I Write The Book
(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding

I’ve decided that I’m also going to post Nick Lowe’s setlist for each show I attend on this run. Tonight’s set was mostly the same as the one in Indianapolis, but he swapped out “Raining Raining” for a stunningly gorgeous rendition of Elvis Costello’s “Alison.”  Wow.

Here’s what he played on the first night in Toronto (mostly the same as in Indianapolis, but with a couple of notable changes):

Stoplight Roses
Heart
What’s Shakin’ On The Hill
Ragin’ Eyes
All Men Are Liars
Lately I’ve Let Things Slide
I Live On A Battlefield
I Read A Lot
Cruel To Be Kind
Alison [Elvis Costello]
When I Write The Book
